Nice to meet you!
I'm Kat!
I’m a telepsych PA, and I help other PAs take control of their money by simplifying spending and investing so they can buy back their time and create more options in their careers and lives.
I’ve been there
For the first 5 years of my PA career, I made good money but had no real idea where it was going. I was carrying student loan debt, working a demanding job in family medicine, and already feeling the early signs of burnout while trying to figure out how I was supposed to keep doing this for decades.
I know exactly what it feels like to avoid looking too closely at your finances because you are not sure what you will find. On paper everything looks fine, but in real life it feels messy, stressful, and unclear.
The shift
Then I finally slowed down and looked at everything honestly. My spending, my habits, and the systems I was using.
That is when I realized I did not need more discipline or more complicated tools. I needed simplicity, visibility, and a way to actually understand my money without overwhelm.
What changed for me
Since then, I paid off my student loan debt and built enough options and freedom that allowed me to step back into a part-time telemedicine role on my terms.
More importantly, I now have a clear path that supports long-term flexibility, including the ability to continue reducing my clinical workload over time and move toward early retirement if I choose.
Why I created this
That is why I created The PA Freedom Money Planner: to help other PAs get out of money avoidance, understand their cash flow, and start building real options in their careers and lives.
